I do very much enjoy cooking, but don't do it as often as I would like, as it's difficult to cook for one without too much waste. I have found that I am very imaginative in the kitchen and can come up with some pretty tasty recipes, or at least I have not killed anyone yet. Volunteers??? :)
Homemade Bread with melted butter and freshly minced garlic.
Okay, so there is always trash in life, what can I say?

I've recently installed a new pfaucet for the kitchen sink. During the installation, there were several times when it would have been nice to have a husband to help out. Though if I had such a creature in my life, I do realize that his lazy ass would likely have been parked on the futon. If I did manage to get him into the kitchen to help, it likely would have been at the expense of his continual bitching about why we really didn't need a new pfaucet anyway. Men, go figure!?

Of course, if the truth be known, I spend most of my time at home sans clothes, or nooood.

So usually when I'm cooking, I'm nekkid as a jay bird. It does save on laundry bills as there is no spilled food to wash off my clothes.

Here's another view of the wooden rack I constructed, as well as a decent view of one half of the kitchen area.
Good bread starts with properly prepared dough. THat's DOUGH, not DUH!
I enjoy cooking a variety of foods. Most recipes generally produce more than enough for one person, usually two or more. Since I live alone and am a great cook, I must be careful as to not eat too much, as I hate to waste anything.
Bread is one of my favorites. It's all made by hand from my top secret recipe. Almost nothing in life beats the smell of freshly baked bread.
After baking, the bread needs to be removed from the bread pans and allowed to cool. The cross section of a loaf of my home-made bread. I may make a lot of loaves, but I am NOT a loafer!
Aside from being quite sweet myself. I also bak a variety of sweets. Here again, I must be careful not to eat it all myself, so I welcome the opportunity to cook something for one of my friends.
It was bartender friend Jacks birthday, so I baked him a cake a few weeks later.
But whether in the kitchen or elsewhere in life, I do have a grand spirit of adventure and sense of humor. Live is too short to not enjoy it and to share in the enjoyment where possible. I cannot create a boy friend for myself, but I can give someone else a smile.
Well the second best thing to freashly baked bread smell, freshly toasted bread. What's in there? Another recent view of my kitchen from another angle.
